Pit Bull Pride - Day #21
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending the day with a fabulous grouping of rescue volunteers at my monthly adoption drive!
A few months ago, Whisper's foster mom adopted one of my favorite pups of all time (DeeDee) and if it's possible, I think I love this sweet little girl even more! Whisper is a young (maybe a year or two?) pit bull mix.
She loved to chase butterflies and bugs of all sorts and has the funniest little walk! When she first came into rescue, she had serious leg problems, so serious that there was talk of amputating one of her legs. However, with some amazing Veterinary care and lots of TLC, Whisper was able to make a full recovery!
This sweet girl is in a wonderful foster home, but she would really love to spend the holiday season in her forever home.
During the adoption event, Whisper was happy to greet everyone that walked by and especially enjoyed being loved on by children. Whisper seems to get along well with most other dogs, she is crate trained, housebroken, spayed and completely up to date on her vaccinations!
