Today's adoptable dog is Alabama! This gorgeous girl is currently waiting for her forever home with Villalobos Rescue Center (the organization featured on Animal Planet's Pit Bulls and Parolees) and has been waiting for her family since March of 2008! That's nearly SEVEN years! 

This sweet pup was rescued from a kill shelter. One look at her and you can see why - she is adorably charming! VRC describes her as 'thick' - I think she's the perfect size, I love a beefy-looking dog (that makes sense - I am a pit bull fanatic after all). Her foster family describes her as sweet, but that she does get overly stimulated in certain situations. She needs to be an only pet in the household, but she loves kids and is very sensitive to her people.
